UWA will host a full In the Zone conference in November 2012, to build upon themes emerging from the high-level summit in March 2011, and from the CHOGM dialogue and associated events.
The conference will be designed to help thought leaders from the private and public sectors engage in internationally oriented public policy debate and build their own global networks to assist in a more strategic response to global challenges.
A wide range of experts will be invited during the course of the In the Zone 2012 program to provide commentary and to promote dialogue aimed at ensuring stability and continued economic growth for the emerging powers of this century.
In its second phase, In the Zone will assert its status as a strategic meeting point for the Australian and wider regional community to engage in cross-sectoral, transnational dialogue about the future of the zone which we inhabit as partners in a shared future.
